At the Dorothy and Cecilia Memorial Foundation (D&C), we believe that education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty and empowering the next generation. We are dedicated to providing access to quality education for children in Cameroon, especially those from underserved communities who face significant barriers to learning.

Why Child Education Matters

In many parts of Cameroon, children—especially those from rural or impoverished backgrounds—often do not have access to the educational resources they need to thrive. Limited access to schools, insufficient learning materials, and financial constraints can prevent children from realizing their full potential. As a result, many children are left behind, unable to build the future they deserve.

We are working to change this reality by providing vulnerable children with the support they need to access and excel in education. Our child education initiatives focus on not only providing immediate learning resources but also on creating sustainable pathways for long-term success.

What We Do

Our child education initiatives are designed to address the unique challenges faced by children in underserved areas of Cameroon. Through a combination of scholarships, learning materials, and mentorship, we aim to ensure that every child has the opportunity to learn and succeed.

1. Scholarships and Financial Support
   Many children in rural areas face financial constraints that prevent them from attending school. By removing these financial barriers, we ensure that children who would otherwise be excluded from education can pursue their studies without worry.

We provide essential educational materials to schools and children in need, ensuring that they have the tools necessary to succeed in their studies. 3. Mentorship and Support Programs
   We recognize that education goes beyond just books and classrooms. Our mentorship programs connect children with role models who can provide guidance, encouragement, and career advice. These mentorship relationships help inspire children to believe in their potential and encourage them to pursue their dreams.
4. Community Awareness and Advocacy
